Remembering the 20th anniversary of September 11, parish musicians will perform a recital of moving works for organ, violin, and choir. Parish organist James Casey, and music director Jeffrey Parola will play organ works by Edward Elgar, Gerald Finzi, Samuel Barber, and Nadia Boulanger. Young guest violinist Vivienne Shiao will play Elegy by James Biery, and the Schola Cantorum of St. Paul the Apostle, Westwood, will sing Caritas by parishioner Dr. Byron Adams. Words of reflection and prayer are shared between works to offer comfort and peace.
