Black Catholicism, Liberation Theology and the Catholic Future

April 8, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The LMU Center for Religion and Spirituality is hosting the annual African American Ministry Forum.

Featuring theologians Dr. Kim Harris and Dr. Darnise Martin, the forum will explore race, social justice, and the Church. Reflecting upon Black Catholic history and leadership, Drs. Harris and Martin will consider how the U.S. Church might enter more fully and authentically into solidarity with Black communities.

This is the first in a series of free webinars. Upcoming dates will be shared on April 8.

Event is free and open to the public via the Center’s Facebook page: facebook.com/lmucrs.
