On Nov. 30, Chaminade College Preparatory students on mock trial teams made history by winning both the junior and senior divisions at the Los Angeles County Championship, marking the first time one school has won both divisions.

Sponsored by the Constitutional Rights Foundation, the championship gave students from Chaminade College Preparatory Middle School and High School in West Hills an opportunity to argue a case on human trafficking at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, while competing against more than 150 schools and 2,500 students.

The high school team will continue on to the California State Championship, to be held in Riverside March 24-26.
