Maestro Daniel Suk’s Dream Orchestra and Urth Caffé will join forces to present Handel’s famous oratorio, “The Messiah,” Dec. 5 in Santa Monica. The concert will feature professional opera soloists, chorus and orchestra. Also featured at the concert will be the Dream Youth Choir, a small group of talented teen vocalists, including accomplished 15-year-old soprano Golda Berkman, who will open the concert with three holiday songs.
In the spirit of Dream Orchestra and Urth Caffé’s shared commitment to making good music and healthy, quality food affordable, sustainable and available, the concert will be followed by an organic inspired buffet reception, catered by Urth Caffé and available to all ticket holders.
Together, these organizations are providing our community with uniquely festive and first-rate musical events.
A portion of the ticket profits will be donated to the archdiocese’s Office of Restorative Justice Juvenile Ministry, an organization that helps to rehabilitate formerly incarcerated youth.
