Reverend James R. Blantz, C.S.C., died Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was 92 years old.
Fr. James was a religious order priest who was ordained on June 10, 1959, for the Holy Cross Fathers. While serving in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, these were his assignments:
- Chaplain, Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks
- Chaplain, Rancho San Antonio, Chatsworth
- Chaplain, St. Catherine by the Sea Convent, Ventura
Services took place on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Norte Dame, Indiana.
