Reverend Joshua Peter Lee died Thursday, June 6, 2024. He was 81 years old.
Fr. Joshua was ordained a priest on June 3, 1989, for the Benedictine Monks (of Valyermo), and he was incardinated into the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on November 20, 1996. While serving as a priest in the archdiocese, these were his assignments:
- Administrator Pro Tem, Associate Pastor, Supply, St. Mary Church, Palmdale
- Associate Pastor, St. Alphonsus Church, Los Angeles
- Pastor, Administrator Pro Tem, St. Hilary Church, Pico Rivera
A viewing and rosary will be held Thursday, June 13, at St. Hilary Church, 5465 S. Citronell Ave., Pico Rivera, at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 14, at St. Andrew’s Abbey, 31001 N. Valyermo Dr., Valyermo, at 11 a.m. Interment following immediately after Mass.
In lieu of flowers or condolences, a donation may be made to St. Andrew’s Abbey or Marycrest Manor Skilled Nursing Facility.
