Four Catholic schools won their second round matches in the CIF-Southern Section Boys’ Volleyball Tournament May 2, and will join Loyola in the May 4 quarterfinals.

Alemany, Paraclete, St. Anthony and Don Bosco Tech made it through Round 2 of their respective divisions, all of which have 32-team brackets, to reach the quarterfinals. The results:

Division 2: No. 4 Alemany (27-4) beat Arcadia in straight sets, and plays fifth-seeded West Ranch (26-7) in the quarterfinals.

Division 4: Second-seeded St. Anthony (28-3) rallied to beat Campbell Hall 3-2 (15-12 in the fifth) and next plays No. 10 Perris (16-5). Sixth-seeded Paraclete (26-6) defeated Paramount in straight sets and will play No. 3 Los Altos (26-4).

Division 6: Eighth-seeded Don Bosco Tech (15-7) downed Holy Martyrs 3-1, and faces No. 1 Village Christian (19-10).

In the 16-team Division 1 portion of the tournament, No. 5 Loyola (20-4) plays its quarterfinal match at No. 4 Redondo Union (27-5), which beat Loyola in straight sets early in the season.
