Magnificat, a ministry for Catholic women in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, will host their next prayer meal on Aug. 13 at 10 a.m.

Guest speaker, Auxiliary Bishop Joseph V. Brennan, will share his vocation story. Born in Van Nuys, Bishop Brennan grew up in the Los Angeles area. Among his many responsibilities, Bishop Brennan serves the faithful with his work on the Board of the Catholic Education Foundation and the Board of Together in Mission.

Early reservation tickets are $28 per person, increasing to $30 after Aug. 6. The event will be held at the Odyssey Restaurant, located at 15600 Odyssey Dr. in Granada Hills.
