The USC Caruso Catholic Center is currently hosting the art exhibit “Peter Adams: Inspirations for the Fourteen Stations of the Cross and Sacred Themes,” which will run from March 26-June 16, 2018.
Peter Adams is a nationally renowned painter who was commissioned to create the 14 stations of the cross for Our Savior Church at USC. The exhibition traces his vision and his artistic process, including his trip to Jerusalem to walk in Christ’s footsteps for inspiration. In another feature, a troupe of thespians in full costume act out the scenes that Adams painted.
At the exhibition’s opening reception on Wednesday, April 18, Adams will give a special presentation, sharing his inspiration for creating art for today’s houses of worship. For more information about the reception, or to RSVP, email [email protected].
