St. Rose of Lima Church in Simi Valley will host a three-day St. Jude mission from Jan. 11 to Jan. 13. The event will begin each evening at 7 p.m.

The mission hopes to explore how St. Jude’s apostolate of hope fits in with God’s plan of Divine Mercy during the Jubilee Year of Mercy declared by Pope Francis.

Each evening will begin with the Holy Rosary, followed by Mass and St. Jude devotions, and will conclude with the veneration of the arm relic of St. Jude, reportedly the largest relic of an apostle outside of Rome. On Jan. 13, the St. Jude Blessing Mass will take place, where St. Jude oil is blessed and participants may receive a St. Jude oil blessing.

Members of the Dominican Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus in Chicago are organizers for the event.

St. Rose of Lima is located at 1305 Royal Ave., Simi Valley. For more information about the event, please contact St. Rose of Lima Church at (805) 526-1732 or visit the-shrine.org.
