Sacred Heart High School in Los Angeles will celebrate 110 years of learning with a birthday celebration fundraiser for their students, faculty and alumni. The all-day event took place at the Teresita’s Restaurant on Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Guests were invited to come for breakfast, lunch or dinner as a way of raising funds for the school.

The school also hosted a Mass in honor of its anniversary at Sacred Heart Church on Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m., followed by a reception at the school.

Established in 1907 by the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, the school was one of the first Catholic all-girls schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
