The Serra Clubs of the Los Angeles Archdiocese will honor the two newly ordained priests, Fathers Cesar Magallón and Ismael Robles, at the 63rd annual Ordinati Luncheon Sept. 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oxnard. Both priests were ordained from St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo by Archbishop José Gomez last June. Father Magallón has been assigned to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Barbara, while Father Robles is serving at St. Pius X Church in Santa Fe Springs.The Serra Clubs, part of Serra International, support, foster and affirm vocations to the priesthood and religious life. In the L.A. Archdiocese, seven Serra Club chapters meet regularly throughout the year.Archbishop Gomez, members of the clergy and special guests will be present for the luncheon, which begins at 11 a.m. with a reception and lunch at noon.
