Celebrating its golden anniversary in 2014, Mary Health of the Sick Convalescent and Nursing Hospital in Newbury Park will hold its 50th Anniversary Dinner, Dance and Concert Gala on Nov. 8 at the Sheraton, Agoura Hills.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and silent auction, followed by a dinner, live auction, dancing and live concert featuring The Four King Cousins, daughters of the famous vocal group The King Sisters. The current group includes sisters Tina Cole and Cathy Cole Green and their cousins Candy Conkling Brand and Carolyn Thomas Cameron.

The Sisters, Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick, were founded in the mid-19th century in Spain, to care for the sick and the elderly. They came to the U.S. in 1914, to California in 1928 and in 1964 established the Newbury Park facility. Their novitiate is located in Oxnard.
