On May 1, Ramona Convent Secondary School Choir performed a wide selection of music at the San Marino Community Church before an enthusiastic crowd.

The day’s repertoire included a rendition of “Colors of the Wind” played on chimes, “Under the Sea,” music sung a capella and “Wake Me Up!” performed to an enthusiastic audience.

The Class of 2015 sang “You’ll Be In My Heart” as they prepared to say goodbye to their teachers and school.

“The spring concert is bittersweet because we are saying goodbye to our beautiful senior sisters,” said Kaylan Amezcua, junior. “But the music is always something grand and enjoyable. Most of my fondest memories this year have been with the music department and I look forward to another year of singing and concerts.”

Erika Gomez, a senior, said, “Being that it was my last concert, it was emotional for me because music is such an important part of my life. It was the day when all our hard work paid off and we sounded pretty great.”
